I feel that art, as a personal self expression, is the window into how a person views the world. For me, life is vibrant and full of color. So is most of my art. I've chosen digital art mostly for convenience's sake. It takes up very little room, and once you have the computer and software, it costs very little to produce. I am one of those who actually prefer using the mouse as opposed to a pad, I got used to it and felt the pad distanced me even more from the screen. Photoshop 7.0 is the only program I've used so far, and I prefer to keep the special effects to minimum - although I do use some of them. I like that some people aren't always sure what medium I've used to create the image. I've had no formal training in art. I am self taught and love to learn from watching other artists create and studying others' pieces, digital or not. My favorite Photoshop artist is Ciro Marchetti.
