the inspiration for these mountain images is the iconic North Face of the Eiger, subject of fascination since the fated early attempts and later (1938) successful climb by Heckmair, Harrer, Kasparek and Vorg. Many books have been written and films made. The images shown here are part of an ongoing project which at present consist of 12 editions of original screenprints.
