Biography: The Artist Ann-Tinne started –just as many other famous painters – at very young age. She is part of a very artistic family: a lot of her family members are artists or writers. Ann-Tinne went to several academies in Belgium(Europe)to refine and develop her painting techniques on wood again and again. She also had private lessons from known and respected artists: M.Boff?, P.Lacroix, C.Bachot, S.Baeten. Her Work Vereeck is strongly evolved, talking about her creations. Although she always wanted to paint original objects. Started with still life’s of Old Masters, she passed the stadium of painting dead and living animals. Currently her paintings are often dominated by the human body and costumed animals . By passing her paintings you can notice cultural periods. First of all she is being influenced by the Low Lands, then by India, Florida,the Arabic countries(UAE) and finally the African continent(ex;Senegal, Mauritanie). She went to those countries and states and came back with a lot of inspiration. Today all kind of cultures and subjects are being mixed, according to the theme which Vereeck is thinking about. She writes every time a poem that explains the reason of the creation or as the story of the painting. She gives a lot of workshop about her painting and she paints your animal if you want to.
