I like to bring to life the colors and shapes that present themselves. I try to view the world around me with techni-colored glasses and strive to achieve a strong feeling of vibrancy in my work. Sometimes whimsical, sometimes more mundane, my art reflects the feelings evoked from my surroundings,experiences and wishes.
Biography: I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, graduated from high school and went off to college. I attended several colleges, including California College of Arts and Crafts, which is where I discovered that I was limiting myself to merely photography and dropped out. I joined the corporate coffee scene, got burned out and went back to school in the Sierras, at Sierra Nevada College. My major was photography, but quickly switched to digital fine art within the first year. I graduated cum laude and resumed my place in the real world. Back in the real world, my medium has been more fluid than the coffee I spilled this morning, and I have embraced many over the years. My recent works include frosted windows and acrylics on wood. I currently live in the Carson Valley at the foot of the Sierra mountains and Lake Tahoe. I live with my husband, our two children and 8 pets.
